These awards are of great value within the business continuity field. Its main goal is to recognize the merits, contributions and experience of business continuity professionals around the world, giving them international exposure.
The aim is to promote business continuity as a key discipline. This is achieved by showcasing the potential professional careers that to be found within it. OZONA CONSULTANTS AWARDED AT THE BCI GLOBAL AWARDS 2021
This year, two Ozona consultants have been awarded at the ceremony. This fills us with pride, since, as we mentioned, these are distinctions that grant valuable recognition within the profession. Indeed, one of our fundamental values at Ozona is professional excellence, “promoting high performance and the zeal to continual self-improvement”.
Uxía Fernández, our Business Continuity Director and partner, has obtained the prestigious BCI Achievement Award. Uxía receives this award for her participation in the ISO committees that develop business continuity standards. Specifically, she led the revision project of ISO/TS 22317:2021 – Guidelines for business impact analysis, which has just been published this week. Besides that, her active participation in the development of ISO 22301:2019 is also worth mentioning. Uxía is also MBCI, ISO 22301 Master certified, and a member of the Board of the Business Continuity Institute Spain Chapter.
As for the second awards, is was for Paula Rodríguez, a consultant for Ozona’s business continuity team, who received the Alan Reed Education Award after obtaining the best score in the CBCI exam in 2020-2021. It was, in fact, an unbeatable grade, a 100% of the answers correct answers.
From Ozona, we want to congratulate both of them for their respective achievements, which they undoubtedly deserve. Congratulations, Uxía and Paula!
