In times of crisis, the way an organization communicates can make the difference between weathering the storm or being trapped in it.

This practical Crisis Communications course gives you the tools you need to act effectively when it matters most.

Throughout the course we will look at the key communications roles and responsibilities, the specific challenges posed by a crisis environment and the stages of the communications process in this type of situation.
This is a hands-on course that will enable participants to define and improve their crisis communications plans, through specific examples about the structure and content of those plans.

Note: this course does not cover communications techniques, copywriting, spokesperson skills or message crafting.

Who is it for?

Aimed at anyone involved in the definition and activation of crisis communications plans, including: business continuity teams, communications managers, liaisons with the main target audiences (customers, media, authorities, employees) or those involved in the definition and oversight of crisis management or crisis communications plans.

OBJECTIVE

The objective of the course is to equip participants with the skills they need to plan, coordinate and execute effective communications during a crisis situation, understanding the main challenges and good practices in this field.
