The ISO 20000 project<\/h2>\n


\nThe ISO 20000 project emerged to provide a quality standard for IT service management in organizations. In order to do so, ISO 20000 specifies a series of requirements an organization’s management system must meet.<\/p>\n

Since this presentation, the ISO 20000 went on to become the reference document for the implementation of IT management systems.<\/p>\n

Its most recent edition<\/a>, from 2018, introduces a few important changes with respect to previous versions<\/a>. This time, the text focuses more on the requirements to be met and less on how to implement them. Furthermore, the new edition is compatible with any management framework, such as ITIL4, IT4IT, VeriSM, etc.<\/p>\n
