Changes in the new ISO 20000-1 compared with previous editions<\/h2>\n

That article describes the main changes in the new edition of ISO\/IEC 20000-1. Many of them stem from aligning the standard with the high-level structure mandated by ISO Annex L. This structure is shared by every management system standard. The article also discusses other changes that arise from the evolution of the standard itself. It is important for the standard to remain current so that it can address new scenarios of application more effectively. The new edition of ISO 20000 is currently at the committee draft<\/em> stage and is expected to be published in 2018.<\/p>\n\n
